Capelli ricci: Mousse, Gel, Mousse

Ciao bellezze!

Chi segue il mio percorso da un pò, ormai saprà che il mio intento è quello di farvi conoscere tutti i segreti del Curly Method, e le tecniche , le scoperte e i metodi che vengono messi in atto da molte blogger straniere.

Dopo avervi parlato del “123gel” di Liz, oggi voglio parlarvi di un metodo, che pare essere molto adatto, soprattutto a chi ha i capelli fini e mossi.

Si chiama “Mousse Gel Mousse” e come potete facilmente intuire, si tratta di un metodo di applicazione che prevede l’utilizzo esclusivo (o quasi) di un gel o di una mousse (comunemente conosciuta come spuma).

Lei si chiama Kelly, e su Instagram si fa chiamare @coffeecurlygirl . Se entrate nel suo profilo IG scoprirete che ha i capelli molto diversi dai miei, ma questo non mi ha impedito di provare a mettere in pratica la sua tecnica, perché intanto ero curiosissima di provarla, e anche quando qualcosa mi va male, sono comunque soddisfatta perchè almeno so ciò che non funziona per me.

Come forse già saprete, non sono particolarmente fan delle spume per i capelli, perchè tendono a seccarmeli moltissimo, questo mi accadeva anche con i gel, ma mentre con questi ultimi, sto riscontrato risultati eccellenti, con ovviamente prodotti che siano CGM approved, ho veramente delle difficoltà a reperire mousse che siano adatte e con INCI quantomeno decente, di conseguenza non ho mai riprovato a reinserirle nella mia routine, se non per testare questo metodo.

Kelly utilizza quasi sempre la stessa spuma: quella di Pantene, per questo motivo ero molto titubante all’inizio. Praticamente Pantene è una linea che ho eliminato già da anni perchè non è adatta proprio ai miei capelli, risultava essere troppo aggressiva, e come saprete l’INCI non è tra i migliori. Successivamente ho capito, che in UK la linea Pantene (incredibile ma vero) contiene ingredienti diversi – a volte succede – e quindi quella utilizzata da Kelly e da chi poi ha seguito il suo esempio, è più adatta di quella che ho usato io.

Arriviamo al procedimento:

  • Una volta lavati i capelli e sciacquati dalla maschera, applicate un leave in (Kelly usa il leave in di Kinky Curly – è disponibile sia sulla mia pagina nei link Amazon , sia su afroitalia.it nel quale vi ricordo, inserendo il mio codice avete il 10% di sconto su una spesa minima di 50 euro)
  • Una volta passato bene il leave in in tutti i capelli, applica la mousse, bene passando le dita in mezzo ai capelli (tecnica chiamata in inglese “ranking”) ; come già anticipato, utilizza la spuma di Pantene.
  • Successivamente applica il gel, anche questo, lo fa utilizzando il ranking in tutta la testa e in maniera scrupolosa ( Kelly usa il gel di Aussie che trovate nella home nella sezione ai link diretti Amazon) 
  • Una volta applicato il gel, lei crea i ricci (in inglese si dice “create the clump” ) lo fa spazzolando i capelli con la spazzola di Curl Keeper, io per esempio l’ho fatto usando la denman, ma c’è chi lo fa effettuando il finger coil, questo è un passaggio che dovete fare come fareste di solito, nella vostra routine normale, a voi la scelta!) Una volta creati i ricci, lei passa un altro poco di acqua, perché nel frattempo i suoi capelli si sono “seccati”, applica un altro poco di gel nelle mani ed effettua il primo scrunch. ( Il passare altra acqua, è facoltativo, nel senso che se i vostri capelli sono ancora ben bagnati e non secchi, non avete bisogno di farlo)
  • Infine, applica un altro poco di Mousse , utilizzando prima la tecnica del “Pray Hand” che già vi ho fatto vedere, ovvero passare il prodotto a mani chiuse, come fossero in preghiera, dopodiché comincia ad effettuare moltissimo scrunch. (NOTARE BENE: lo scrunch va fatto a capelli bagnati, altrimenti si seccano e vi creano l’effetto crespo, quindi valutate se aggiungere un pò di acqua oppure no!)
  • Asciugatura facoltativa: che sia plopping, asciugatura all’aria o con diffusore, non cambia, Kelly fa il plopping per circa 20 minuti e poi usa il diffusore.

I used the Smasters technique and smoothed on some @inahsinaturals Coconut avocado custard. . . 6️⃣Scrunch or smooth out the crunch. Per quanto riguarda me, invece, vi starete chiedendo, ha funzionato?

Beh, la prima volta io ho utilizzato la combo della spuma Pantene con il gel di Bounce Curl (Gel che trovate su afroitalia.it) mentre la seconda volta, ho combinato sempre una mousse di Pantene ma una formula più leggera, e il gel di Aussie, come quello che usa Kelly.

Io ho amato il risultato! Nonostante di norma le spume (soprattutto quelle Pantene) non siano la mia prima scelta, devo dire che questa tecnica mi ha dato tantissima definizione, in un momento dell’anno – l’estate – nel quale è difficile mantenere i capelli in buono stato a causa dell’umidità , ed anche il giorno dopo, si presentavano veramente belli:
